garments from the past vol.1

At a recent visit to my village's Museum of Folklore Art,
I came across garments from the past.
in paricilar from the 20s.

I was especially impressed by the everyday wear and its details.
Though, made from wool for endurance, practicality and lack of variety in clothing material
the folowing dress remains interesting.
The particular item was worn by a wealthy heiress as casual clothing.
Only because the lady wearing it came from a rich background,
we see the outfit complimented by jewllery of the time.

Next follows a nightgown made of cotton and  handmade embroidery.
Again, it used to belong to a well-to-do lady.

Finally, my personal favourite , a 1920 bridal gown.
It is in decomposition but still it totally encompasses the 20s fashion.
To find such a garment in the area is quite an imporant discovery,
since it is a poor area and women of the time used to wear
nothing but their everyday clothes and a veil on their wedding day.
